Rosmery sewing in her home in São Paulo, Brazil, where she lives with her husband, seven children and her grandson.
Rosmery is Bolivian and moved to Brazil in search of work. Prior to moving in to her own home she lived and worked in a sewing workshop with her family, often for up to 16 hours a day.
Nowadays she still sews and has long days, but she is based from home.
Rosmery has received a lot of help and support from Missao Paz who work in partnership with C&A Foundation to offer advice and support on employment, health, family, community and education.
Their mission is to welcome, understand, integrate and celebrate the lives of immigrants and refugees, dreaming of a universal citizenship.
